Thursday was a pretty exciting day for both of us.

First we went to an Eric Bibb concert (an American Acoustic Blues singer/songwriter) that Clint really wanted to go and see. It was a great concert! We were able to sit front row, so we really got to see him play. Clint loves music, especially the Blues, so this was right up his alley.

Then at midnight, I went to see the movie Twilight. HOORAY!!! It was awesome! I loved parts of it, and other parts not so much, but it was definitely worth staying up to see it.

This table was my parents when I was growing up. Two coats of beautiful cherry stain, and five coats of lacquer later, this table is definitely new and improved. I wish we had thought to take a before picture. It was a walnut color, a little rickety and had definitely seen better days. Though I've painted for years, I hadn't had much experience with stains. I think our first project was a success. It's amazing what a little TLC will do.

Mystique's Haunted Castle

Every year Mystique gives out big candy bars to trick-or-treaters, if they're brave enough to go get it. They just have to go and retreive the candy bar from a skeleton, with scary monsters jumping out at them. This year they added a full blown Haunted Castle. We put it together in a couple of days, but it turned out awesome! Here are some of the pics.
